Spafford & Bliss
H.G. Spafford wrote the words to the song It Is Well With My Soul after his four daughters
were killed in a ship wreck off the coast of New Foundland. Philip Bliss wrote the music to
the song, and one month later died in a train wreck in Ashtabula, Ohio.
